Over ten years as a coach, coordinator, and instructor across swimming, soccer, climbing, and skateboarding, I've seen it build confidence, connection, and community. But I've also seen talented teams buried in manual workarounds, fighting technology that wasn't built for how recreation actually works, and operating without the strategic plans their facilities and programs deserve. Too much capacity gets lost when it should be spent on the people we serve. I started Technical Recreation Solutions to be the modern consultancy this sector has been missing — bringing fresh perspectives on technology, planning, and operations so sport and recreation organizations can reach their full potential.

Recreation departments rarely top the priority list for IT, planning support, or strategic investment. Most PSOs and NSOs run complex operations with small teams and tighter budgets than the work demands. Generic consultants don't understand that. We do — because we've been in those roles. T-RECS exists to represent a new way of supporting this sector: grounded in real operational experience, focused on efficiency through whatever means fit best — technology, planning, strategy, or all three. We're not here to implement and invoice. We're here because we believe sport and recreation in Canada deserves consultants who actually understand how it works.
